

“Mysteries of Bulgaria – the Prophet Vanga”, 2-Day Excursion
1st Day: Early morning departure; picturesque drive inland to Sofia; lunch in Sofia; a walking tour of the main landmarks of the capital (St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the National Assembly building, St. Nicholas Russian Church, the Royal Palace, the Presidency, the Council of Ministers, St. Petka, St. George and St. Nedelya churches); late afternoon departure to Rila Monastery; dinner and overnight in the vicinity of the monastery;
2nd Day: Breakfast; optional visit of the early morning mass at the monastery church; breakfast; sightseeing tour of Rila Monastery – the biggest and the most beautiful one in the country, an excellent example of the Bulgarian Revival arts and architecture; departure to Rupite country veiled in the halo of the mystic energy of Prophet Vanga who chose to spend here the last days of her life; free time for exploring the complex around “St. Petka of Bulgaria” temple; lunch; visit to the museum-house where Vanga lived in the 1990s; afternoon departure and late evening return.
